Terms and Conditions

No sums paid to GSi Events Ltd by you shall be treated as paid until after the funds have cleared.

When you are sent a confirmation of order and or entry by email, it is to inform you that your order has been received by us. This does not indicate that an agreement exists between us. However, as soon as your order is approved and processed we will email you to confirm your purchase.  This term covers us both in the event that an error has been made on an event web site or within the shopping cart software. If there is ever any change in price or availability of a particular item, size or colour, we would always contact you with possible options.

All race entrants must sign or agree to the respective race disclaimer,  Please note that all race entry fees are non refundable and not transferable.

Purchases made using a credit or debit card are processed immediately, but we also accept UK cheques (made payable to GSi Events Ltd), postal orders and money orders. Please be advised however, that a £15 charge will made for any returned cheques to cover our bank charges and administration expenses.

This section explains that the law allows you to cancel many online purchases up to seven working days after you made the transaction – unless the service you have paid for has begun within this time If you do not wish to waive your cancellation right in this you should not enter the event.

If an event entrant with a paid place becomes unable to participate in any GSi organised event, you must notify the office as soon as possible. Please note that all race entries are non refundable and are not transferable. Edinburgh Marathon Team Relay entrants will be asked to submit their team entry list prior to the race.

You have rights under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 to cancel any agreement with us during an initial \”cooling-off\” period of 7 days.
No financial penalty will be imposed for cancelling this contract during the \”cooling-off\” period although event processing fees do not qualify for a refund.

If you wish to cancel any agreement for the supply of goods during the cooling-off period you shall return the goods to us and you shall be responsible for the cost of doing so.

The notice of cancellation must be submitted in writing and must be posted to GSi Events office (see bottom of these terms and conditions for address).

Upon cancellation of an agreement we shall reimburse any sums paid by you within 30 days of the day on which the notice of cancellation was given.

GSi Events are responsible for:

  3. Promoting the race on our website.
  4. Providing the event owners with a statement setting out the monies received and paid by us.
  5. As entrants enter a race through the Website we will collect all entrance money and hold it as the event owners agent.
